Regulations for awarding safety and health badges

Pursuant to the resolution of the fifth session of the Supreme Council for Health and Food Safety, dated 5/8/86, in line with the goals of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, in order to motivate and encourage producers and promote the safety and health of food and beverage products. Has a manufacturing license from the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education and has special features that are mentioned in this regulation and related executive instructions, is awarded a safety and health mark.

  • Safe and healthy product: It is a product that is produced from healthy raw materials and in good hygienic conditions, and while having special properties, it has properties that help to promote consumer safety and health.
  • A sign of safety and health: Safety and health mark is the mark that is given to the product according to this regulation by the Food and Drug Administration and its image is a green apple which is a symbol of health and the phrase safety and health is written next to it and the holders show it. They can put a picture of it on the label of their product.
  • High Committee for Awarding Safety and Health: It is a committee that evaluates the eligibility of eligible food and beverage products, which in this regulation is called the award committee for short.
