General purpose assembly reports are those reports that are prepared to meet the needs of users who are not in a position to receive reports appropriate to their specific information needs. Reports of general purpose assemblies include those reports of assemblies that are submitted separately or in conjunction with other published reports for public use, such as the annual report. The provisions of this statement also apply to the reports of the business group consolidated assemblies, but do not apply to intra-period financial information.
